Acrylic Flood Painting

How do we do it?
Using acrylic paint mixed with a medium and water we pour the mixture onto a 6mm MDF form, using an air compressor we move the paint and create patterns. The paints react with each other to create unique "cells" and color combinations. We encourage the paint to move and cover the sides of the form to give a rounded and complete piece. The backs are painted black and hangers attached. To protect and preserve the artwork, we coat each piece with two layers of UV protective epoxy resin to give a beautiful high gloss finish.
